Are you going to marry for money?

Now a days, in order for you to survive, waiting for the perfect man is not an option for a gold digger. My cousin is now engaged to her older sister's Japanese boyfriend. The older sister was very furious about this because her sister kept their relationship with her. The older sister agrees to help her sister for a sponsorship to be given by her Japanese boyfriend. The Japanese boyfriend keeps sending her sister allowances for a month. Not knowing that aside from the money she felt, her sister is keeping a private message to her Japanese boyfriend. The reason behind is, their parents want her younger sister to marry him instead of her older sister so that they can benefit from it. Everyone knows that her sister don't have feelings for this Japanese guy, but since this Japanese guy is wealthy. She will marry him even though her older sister is in pain. Just to have his money.

that's sad.. I don't see anything wrong marrying for continence as long as you also promise loyalty in the union.. but if hurting somebody.. specially your sister... i mean that's just wrong...

It is betrayal. The older sister is very sad and mad at the same time. She feels that her parents did this to her because they can benefit from it. And her sister is too insensitive for her feelings.

@Iamsopia Yes her parents is in it too. Because they can't get money from the older sister that is why they push the young suster to flirt with her Japanese boyfriend. And it's all because of money.

That is a very interesting but sad story. I would not get married just for money - I hope to marry my partner some day

Yes. It is not a good idea. Stealing your older sisters boyfriend just to have money out of the Japanese guy.

Sure, if I find a billionaire woman wanting to marry me. Seriously no, I would not marry someone without feelings, I am not a gigolo. I do not understand this kind of mindset. At least she will able to divorce in Japan.

I don't know why she did that. She's smart and because she can get what she wants she betrayed her sister.

Aside from love, before I get married, the person whom I'll marry should also be financially secure, responsible and has zero debt. A prenup is a must for me. In a way, money is a consideration for me. His money is his and my money is mine.

I agree. Well, as I've said in my post before. Money can make the whole world spinning. It's all about money. But there is always a consequence for this. She's too insensitive for her older sister's feelings. It is not love if she only afterinh for his money.

Very sad and all the wrong reasons to get married. Money does not mean that much to be that I would marry somebody that I didn't love just for their money. If that is not bad enough she is hurting her sister and she doesn't care. She sounds very selfish if she would marry something that her sister loves and she doesn't just because he has money.

For it is okay to marry because of money if only there's no one to feel the pain. Love can be learn. But having someone hurt and betrays. This is beyond.

@JustBhem I would never marry for money if I didn't love the person. I would choose love over money any day.

How can parents consented on such a deal , without putting into consideration the pain the older sister will be feeling ? And i suppose the Japanese now loves this younger sister ?

I don't know, maybe because she is younger? This Japanese boyfriend and the older sister stayed in relationshiop for 10 yrs. They rumoured the older sister of having a relationship with a local and the younger sister did the gossip. And she always messaged the Japanese and the this guy thought that the younger is so kind to let him know. And the rest is History.

That is really sad. I definitely did not marry for money. My husband came to be with me on a bus with just a bag full of clothes. No money, no job, no home, nothing... I loved him and didn't care about him not having money.

Unfortunately, if you ask me, there's a lot of people doing that. It so sad to read your story but nowadays people wil do anything for money. And love will come last after that. But I prefer to marry because my boyfriend is a hard worker, not because he's wealthy.
