I woke up this morning to see the news about this horrible train wreck in Hoboken, New Jersey. So far there has been only one dead person but they think there will be more bodies found as the day goes on. I rode that train many times when I lived in New Jersey and I cannot imagine the impact when it hit. That train is one of the many that bring people from New Jersey to New York to go to their jobs as well as shopping, etc. Those trains go so fast so I can only imagine the impact when the train stopped. My husband rode that train for years as we lived in New Jersey but he worked in New York. Prayers go out to everyone involved and at this time they have not ruled out foul play. Lets hope not.

@sishy7 Yes, that is the one. It is amazing that there were not any other deaths.

My husband's son takes that train but he leaves super early in the morning for the city. They live at the shore and he works in Manhattan.

My husband use to work there too and left very early as we lived in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. I don't know how the people commute every day.

@AbbyGreenhill I drove in the city many times and had no problem. The key is to act and drive like New Yorkers. Back in the days, everyone use to lay on their horns but now there is a law they are not allowed to do that any more.

That train crash was horrible but thankfully everyone we know who rides it are okay. Prayers for the victims and I'm hoping it wasn't foul play

I feel bad about this news that so many people got injured from this train accident. I hope that there will be a fast investigation and explanation about why and how it happened. I hope those injured will get recovered very soon.

As a former Jersey girl, I've heard about it on the news and saw it on Facebook. How terrible to hear about this crash.

@ramapo17 I don't think I did. I've been to Hoboken. Glad to have another Jersey girl over here.

@KristenH What part of Jersey were you from? I grew up in Clifton and moved to Budd Lake when I had kids. I have traveled all over it for my kids competitions through the years.
