If you are a tourist, you need to visit the Golden Gate Bridge, Coit Tower, Alcatraz, Chinatown, Fisherman's Wharf, and Golden Gate Park. These are all places I recommend.

buy some sourdough bread. i was in san fran once just for a few hours on a military layover. i loved the city and can't wait to return someday. get the bread, it's better than any other sourdough bread i've ever eaten.
