Even though I read too much, I think one of the best books I ever read was the Giver, while the movie was alright, I loved the book when I was younger and it kind of stuck with me when I got older.

@Marty1 I think most library's have it I know the have the other books to the sequel, which I didn't mind much, but they weren't as good as The Giver.

@Marty1 Gathering Blue, The messenger, and apparently I guess they had a new one, called Son. Which I haven't read yet.

The Giver was an excellent read. I didn't read the sequels Gathering Blue, Messenger, and Son though. It's been a while since I've read the Giver, but I can still remember what happened in it. I remember being emotionally affected by what was happening to Jonas and Gabriel.

Did Trump really write a book? I really enjoyed Khaled Housseni (sp)'s the Kite Runner. It is possibly my favorite book of all time.

I think the best book I ever read was Shadow over Kiriath by Karen Hancock. That book had everything that pulled me in and held my attention for hours.

I've read so many books in my life time that it's hard to say which was my favorite. Of course, my Bible is the first, but I loved Three by Ted Dekker, Gone with the Wind, Riven by Jerry Jenkins, and the series by Phillip Gulley.
