Trying to Stay Positive

It's been such a long day. I know I promised to post pictures of my ukuleles today but I will have to wait until another day if that's ok. It's now 11:30 pm and I'm just getting home from work when my shift was supposed to have ended at 9. Now I only have a few hours to sleep before I have to be back at 6 am to unload the next truck. I'm trying hard to stay positive cause I don't like feeling down but this job is really getting to me. We had a meeting the other day and I mentioned that we needed to work on making sure that people are able to leave on time and the only response I got was "Work faster". When I worked at the store from another state, I managed to get all my work done and drive the hour home and made it back way before I would have had I worked at my original store, which is 5 minutes away. The other store is a lot slower and they had extra people to help. I don't understand why they can't manage things better at my store. I know I've been complaining a lot about it and I'm sorry. I don't mean to sound like a whiny baby, this is kind of like my therapy. It's nice to get it out and talk about it. I just gotta keep looking to the bright side. At least I have a job that pays well and has good benefits. Who cares if it sucks my soul away and doesn't allow me to have a life outside of work, right?

You care or your wouldn't be talking about it. I hope they do get some extra help for you so you're able to get home at an earlier time.

This is a good place to get 8t off your chest. I hope you can keep that good paying job and benefits AND have a life outside of work.

It is good you still look at your job positively; yes, you are still lucky to have a good job that pays well and has lots of benefits.

I feel your pain. You are caught between a rock and a hard place. A decent job to pay the bills and benefits but is slowly crushing your spirit. There is no solution other to find an equal but better for the soul job.

Mylot friends are good to whine or rant to. It's 10:30 pm here as I type and I will soon head in in hopes of getting more sleep tonight.

It is tough when you employer won't listen to your concerns. You must be so tired. Rest well before you have to head back to work again.
