Such a disappointment

Today my husband and I were out shopping a few hours and when we got home neither one of us wanted to make dinner. I suggested getting subs from Firehouse Subs. We never had this place in the northeast, at least we never saw them. Since being down here we have fallen in love with their subs.
We had Subway in the northeast and we were happy to see some different options.
So we decided to get some subs and were looking forward to our favorite ones. It started pouring and thundering when my husband got there and he ran into the store. I think he forgot everything in that downpour and when he got home he did not have anything I wanted.
I do not know if he goofed up or the server picked up the wrong sandwiches. I don't mind changing a little but the ones he brought home for me were so horrible I could not eat it. He will be eating mine tomorrow.

Oh dear so sorry to hear about that. When I'm hungry and I needed something and what was brought was something I couldn't eat, I throw a fit.

@Macarrosel I hope so too. I am sure you have had an experience where you are looking for something special to eat and end up not getting it. Since then I have been eating all kinds of junk food to get rid of my cravings but nothing is worth it.

They don't have good sub shops south of the Mason-dixon line unless you can find a Jersey Mike's.

@AbbyGreenhill We intend to try them too. Pizza places and sub places we like to find. We got Papa John's pizza last week and it was good. I hate Dominos. It is funny how we get use to a certain place and it is hard to find a replacement when we move.

They have a Jersey Mikes near us but we discovered Firehouse Subs and they are great. We always got subways up north which we liked.

So sorry that you did not get the right kind of food that you desired to. Maybe it was the pouring rain that made him forget about what he needed to get. It would be easier to go shopping with a shopping list at hand. Take care, friend.

He had the shopping list and gave the right order to the person making it as it was on the receipt. The person putting it in the bag made the mistake.
