Compared himself to Adolf Hitler

What on earth he was thinking when he compared his plan to eradicate three million drug addicts to Hitlers attempt to wipe the Jewish people? Let me tell you this, there's a huge gap and little similarities to what he was comparing. Because Hitler think of the Jews as a disease to the German people, but they were never drug users. Maybe they did commit crime but because of poverty. The guy is twisted enough to think he could win the war and exterminate the jews at the same time, he was wrong. I'm sure you might agree with me, but some people out there do drugs because of poverty and hunger besides the sole desire to go high. Maybe to most people, it's their only escape to their problems. I personally believed not all of them chose to do drugs by choice. He should focus also on rehabilitation to those who want to change. He mentioned he's going to convert the huge drug lab into a rehab center, but doesn't know where he will get the money. I am happy though somehow that I didn't vote for this man. Maybe he should forgot about having a PR staff and get them all fired, for their sake! I'm sure the Jewish community isn't going to like what he said.
The Philippines president Rodrigo Duterte appears to compare himself to Hitler saying he would “be happy to slaughter” three million drug addicts in his war on crime

I hope that you are realizing that you are not anymore considered to be a democracy by Western countries because you are executing thousands of people without any judgment. If there is still a Parliament or a Senate able to stop this mad man, they should do it now before Philippines fall again into a dictatorship.

@yukimori I don't just get why all of a sudden the western community became worried with people here dying. When it was actually worst during the last administration, Ejk still, bullet scandal in the airports, and other crimes no different with duterte's admin. It's still exaggeration to me our local media lost the credibility since the election, for me they lost my trust on them since 2010.

He said something even Trump has not said yet. Sounds like your President is like Trump in that regard. I am glad he is atleast is talking about a rehab place and hopefully his comment were out of frustraition and not meant to be taken literal. That being said, still the worse comment you can make on that big stage when the whole world can see how you work as a leader.

He's sorely lacking in a filter. Regardless of how frustrated he might be, the meaning of the words is painfully clear. It's not a sentiment that a country's leader should be expressing.

That guy sounds dangerous. Anyone who wants to exterminate any groups of people is just plain crazy. Why is he the president if he has such radical views?

That may be the case. Say something sweet and no one listens. Say something like an outrage and people talk about it.

I do understand he's trying to convey his message but with out asking help from his PR @acelawrites how he would know say it properly. The media now can demonize him to the point of getting the international community to intervene.

the man sounds like he is mentally deficient to me. I hope he can be contained in some way. He shouldn't be in office.

@Letranknight2015 We can never really blame the voter because its what they believe. That is why there is campaign for people to know who are these candidate. Maybe because there are so many people disgusted with crimes the last administration so they thought of crimebusting man will comfort their mind.

This horrible man has been compared to the horrible man that's the Republican Presidential nominee in the US. This is scary stuff indeed. I know I personally have never believed in Hitler comparisons to any American leader or candidate whether I agreed with him or her or not but for the first time I think those comparisons are fitting when it comes to Donald Trump.

It actually started with the Media, he only explain his way of getting rid of criminals the hitler way. But it became controversial when it involved the jews, he did genuinely apologize to the Jewish community and explain his side. but he did said something again that really scared me @anniepa

i did not vote for him either. the person i voted for is now about to be buried, and i am deeply saddened by her untimely demise. the president might have all his spokespersons scratching their heads because they are finding difficulties explaining what DU30 meant with what he says in public. it seems he is isolating our country now, as if we can live alone without other country's help?!

Oh, now I know who you voted for @ridingbet but sad to say I wasn't fond of voting her since she has passed her prime. If you have noticed she was having a mind block during her debate speech some how. I don't think were as active as the chinese during their communist era, therefore more people might complain instead of making sacrifice.

@Letranknight2015 among all the presidentiables, she was the most legitimate and most deserving. i knew about her terminal illness and i accepted that but that did not hinder me from voting for her. the point for me is i had the power to vote who i wanted to lead our country.

@anniepa I think it was the cops clearing their tracks so that they won't get arrested. Most of them surrendered, and some are seriously being rehabilitated.

@Letranknight2015 Media! It spreads so much so soon when it comes to media. True information is what they're supposed to spread, but it's necessarily not practised. It then comes to the public, what to believe and what not to. Public would know that not all the knowledge is to be gulped as it is.

i think he was pointing out the difference between him and Hitler. he mention that he was being compared to Hitler, he said has murder a great number of Jews during the holocaust while he was willing to slaughter criminals. and that since he is having criminals killed and not innocent people like the Jews during the holocaust it is not as bad as what Hitler did.. personally though for me killing is killing, being rendered without the right to defend your self is both unjust and inhumane.

He shouldn't have made the comparison because hitler did it out of pure hate against the jews. He believes somewhat that criminals don't deserve redemption as they are supposed to get killed anyway.
