Do you remember arguments?

I don't mean bearing a grudge. I mean just remember the argument at all. I bumped into an old acquaintance today. We haven't seen each other for a while, so it was good to have a quick catch up. Then she said, "I'm so glad you're not still mad about our last disagreement. I thought you were avoiding me for a while." I was like "huh??". I honestly couldn't recall the incidence. So I reassured her all is forgotten, truthfully! But it got me wondering, do you remember arguments? If so, how long for??

I seldom remember an argument even the next day. It's the Goose thing. I wake up in a new world every day. Of course, I also tend to forget really good stuff, so it's a trade off.

I thought women never forgot any detail of any argument ever? Or does that only apply when it involves their man? lol

Ya I tend to remember all the details of a disagreement if it's with my man right! Especially if he happens to piss me off

@moffittjc Indeed, men seem to have a special knack to it.

@Drosophila Us men are pretty good at pissing our women off, whether intentionally or unintentionally. We're damned if we do, damned if we don't! lol

Yes I do remember them. Sharp memory and all. The ones that didn't get resolved are the ones I will remember more precisely!

I can remember them for a long time...but I don't usually use them against the opposite person to fight back! hehe i just remembered my mom tells me that I used to cry when i was young not just because of that particular day when mom yells at me but I used instead remember all the past bad memories which can make me cry better so that I can grab the attention of the people heheh lol

I might forget where I have put my keys, and I bought a whistling key ring for them, but I have the memory of an elephant when it comes to arguments. It is rare if I bear grudge against someone, but if it happens the revenge will be served very cold at the appropriate moment.

I usually don't remember arguments unless it was something truly painful. There's a "friend" of mine who was rude to my children. I have forgiven her but I cannot forget-that happened last year. Little arguments don't mean much or hurt much so I don't remember those.

Not always and not everything. There are arguments that I remember, but most of the time I forget.

I can't remember any argument. If I had any, they weren't worth remembering.

I think it depends on the argument. Most of them I never remember, thought there have been a couple that fester. It's not a grudge, just plain angry about the situation. At the moment I have no recollection of my last argument.

I agree, I tend to get more annoyed at the situation than the person

Not as a rule, no. I don't hold onto that kind of stuff unless it is something major. Even then I tend to forgive but not forget.

Best way to be happy is to forget all bad things and I 'm good at it. I usually forget all arguments and I do not want to touch the arguments that happened in past but if somebody stirs my feelings and if I get angry I start remembering all arguments and throw back everything at that person to make that person realize that there was nothing good in remembering the old arguments. Forgiving and forgetting are the pillars of success, happiness and peace. Thanks Have fun...
