Confused between dreams and reality.

I do get confused between dreams and reality. There are times when I talked about a certain event with my hubby or a family member and they can't even remember exactly what I was talking about. They often tell me that it never happened wherein I know it did happened and I never thought that perhaps it's just a dream because I'm aware it really did happen just like I'm aware that I'm typing and telling this my experience with you guys and know for a fact that this is real and happening.
It happened to me several times and keeps on happening without any pattern at all. It's really frustrating for me and it sometimes causes arguments and misunderstandings.
Any experience like mine? What do you think it is or what causes it?

A friend of mine experiences the same thing... This usually happens with her work related issues! She is so stressed about her work always that even in her dream she is giving instructions to her subordinates and next day she starts shouting at them for not completing the work asked to do! And when they tell her they didn't get any instructions, she is all confused and when she checks her planners and call logs, the intended call would have never happened at all... Then she would realize that she had actually dreamt of it and not in real... Maybe this is because of stress! Do you have any underlying stress or anxiety?

I don't know. Probably I'm just stressed but I don't understand because it's like a normal thing to me. I don't even know when it started. And can't even remember if I was dreaming because I know for a fact that I am not.

I'm not totally sure. So there are chances that dreams can be stored in our subconscious mind and pertain it as a normal memory? Do you think this is just normal like does it happen to a lot of people as well?

I don't think so. In reality there is nothing ideal whereas in dreams most of the things are ideal.

Very strange....I have heard about it for the first time...
I think you should consult a good consultant...
Thank to god that you have a supportive family

Yes I do :) I haven't really consulted a professional about this. I think I'm scared that I might have a mental illness or something :(
