I know it is very painful issue as we tend to avoid "Old People". We consider them "Burden" or "Unproductive" but have we ever thought that they had worked hard as much as we are doing. We usually push Old People to the corner out of decision making.
Our attitude towards Old People should be better than what it is now.
What is your take ?

"We" consider them a burden or unproductive? Whoever....( and I for one am not included in this category ) thinks that is just not very nice. No one, not even the ELDERLY should be make to feel like they are just in the way.
Which group will "we" attack next? How about the people in wheelchairs? oh ok how about the ones who are bed ridden?
I admire the ELDERLY for they have been through enough life to spread their stories, advice and wisdom.

@VivaLaDani13 One common thing about all these groups is they attack weaker people/ weaker section of society. Majority rules while minority suffers. All blame for any problems a society is facing are blamed on minority coz they are easy targets.

No it is not like this everywhere......
Old people become small kids and we have to handle them the way we handle our kids...
They dand love, care and attention...
Give them this and then you will never be able to count your blessings

But if it were so, none would send their Elders to Old Age Home.

There is definite growing "ageism" in the US. Businesses don't want to hire those over 50 and everything is aimed to pleasing millennials who have a negative attitude toward the elderly.
