Another Hurricane approaching the United States

Thanks. The last one didn't hit us, we just had rain but it looks like this is going to be as bad or worse than Sandy, a few years back. We lived on the border of Pennsylvania and New Jersey so we got that one. We had to replace a tv, ceiling fan, computer and a few other things. Thank goodness for home owners insurance. It covered everything.

Thank you. We just hope the house holds up. This is our first time in a major hurricane in Florida and on the coast.

What is a typhoon like? Is it all rain or wind and rain?

@ramapo17 You are right that it contains heavy rain or storm.

There is usually a hurricane or two every fall but some not as bad as others. I think the last big one was 5 years ago and we lived in the northeast in the country. We were in the mountains and not by the ocean and we still got hit. My dad lived near the bad area where houses were ruined and schools. Some of the people haven't recovered from that one yet.

We have been through a lot of them when we lived in the northeast of the country but now we are on the coast of Florida. It is going to be interesting.
