Is it true that Parent is an art and not everyone can be excellent at it ? This question must be answered by Singles who are about get married and Couples who are about to become Parents.
Child is the biggest responsibility of Parents !

People are natural parents, otherwise, the human race wouldn't have survived. We know what to do instinctively because we have to.Only lately in history have "experts" taken it upon themselves to try to tell us how to raise our children, so of course there are a lot of new parents who are unsure of themselves. We should relax and let our natural intelligence take over. And quit reading parenting books and sites!

I like your opinion on the issue a lot. Yes, It is true that Consumerism has impacted our self-confidence with regard to Parenting but I still feel that as the time is changing so is our innate skills. Parenting is usually judged by the performance, personality and character of children.

@RADICAL11 That's true, but don't you think that the reason our innate skills are changing is because of the way we treat them? As if we didn't have any common sense at all and had to rely on some expert to tell us what to do all the time. Parents are judged by their children, it's true, and if what we see on the news is a good indication, it means parents are doing a much worse job than they used to.
