There might be a reason they are doing it all in secrecy. There was also a message that was circulating on whatsapp ....that if anyone sees the Indian army on the move or anywhere...not to poet it on social media..so maybe they are trying to do something about the whole Kashmir issue.

Surgical strikes have always been an instrument deployed in case of a contingency. We can look back at other examples such as the raid on Entebbe by Israeli special forces (Sayeret Matkal) and by the U.S Seals in Abbottabad. In either case, there were no demands for proof. We must understand that these assertions cannot be made as a joke under any circumstance. There are diplomatic and political consequences of it and making false claims would be very unwise. Hence, there is absolutely no likelihood of it being a farce. Yes, the operational details have not been divulged and most of that is speculation. But questioning the very authenticity of it seems absolutely bizarre.

Strikes are made when there are disgruntled people over an issue or even politics .
