Happy New Year to Us

It wasn't such a good Jewish New Year this year for us.
There were no New Year dinners that we were able to attend, so I made our own simple one.
I went to our synagogue with a friend, but couldn't remain for the entire service. I had to return home to my husband, who still needs my help. My friend used his expensive ticket to be allowed into our synagogue. I didn't want her to pay me for it.
I tried not to myLot on these high holy days, but spent my time reflecting on the past year and the new year. That made me feel better spiritually, but put me way behind in my notifications.
I do hope this will prove to be a much better year and prayed for health, happiness, prosperity, and a sweet year ahead for family and friends.
The photo is of my grandchildren and daughter-in-law before leaving for services at their synagogue in Manhattan.

I hope it is a good year for you as well health wise for your whole family and your husband will soon be well. Very nice photo of your daughter-in-law and grandchildren.
Let me understand - you need to pay a ticket to get into your synagogue for the service?

I hope and pray the New Year will be so much better for you. But until things do improve... Hope those helped at least a little bit!

Happy New Year. Several of my friends and family members have also been celebrating the Jewish New Year. (We are a religiously mixed family.) I'm so sorry that your husband still needs your help and you have not been able to fully enjoy the holiday. I hope you have a much better year ahead. Don't worry about your notifications. That is the least of your concerns, I'm sure.

@DianneN - You've been in my thoughts and prayers this week. You have so much going on with your husband's health and your condo in Florida. I hope things get better for you soon!

Your grandchildren are so cute; they look like you. I don't know that you are celebrating New Year in October. Is this the so-called Passover? Happy New Year to all of you!
