Just Wondering Here

I am just wondering if anyone knows if we are allowed to write about certain websites that we have enjoyed and we would like to suggest them to our friends here.
Sometimes, I find a website that I really enjoy and would love to introduce it to my users here on MyLot.
So, if one of you or more than one of you know the actual answer to this question with 100% of certainty, I would love to hear from you.
@GoAskAlice
And thank you so kindly in advance.

I think we're not allowed to post links to sites that pay, money earning sites. There shouldn't be a problem sharing a friend's website. We post links to videos here all the time. I mention the name of sites without giving the link. If people are really interested they can look them up.

There is nothing in the guidelines about it. As I said, I talking about sites where you earn money. Just go for it @marlina.

@saulgoodman But it is not a referral link at all. It is a site that I enjoy and would like to share it with others.

II think referral links are not allowed. I saw that somewhere but can't recall exactly where.

@carebear29 , it is not a site about writing opps. It is a site about gardening and cooking.

Why not - as long as you don't provide a sign-up link where you would get credit if someone signs up. Many of us talk about other sites. I have written about Swagbucks and CrowdTap and Swmsuitsforall and others.

I am not sure, but it is in the rules not to post links that might lead the reader to other sites. Just ask the admin about this.

You can certainly write about other sites and you can (and preferably should) post a link to the main page of the site. What you must NOT do is to post a referral link, suggest that people enter a referral code or in any way encourage people to ask you to give them your referral link.

I have heard it's not allowed but I think it's for earning sites. Not sure if that's what you want to tell everyone about or not.

Go ahead . . Tell us about those interesting web sites . . Just don't invite anyone to sign up. And don't forget to write/post a disclaimer below your post.

Yes, it is allowed. As per Community Guidelines,"if there is an article you would like others to see and discuss, then post a link to that article along with your own commentary."

As long as there is no referral attached we can certainly recommend sites of interest.

It seems we are allowed to mentioned other sites.
Some of us are writing on BlogBourne now
If it is not okay for me to say this-someone will no doubt remove my statement here I think.
