Sprinting vs Jogging

I have been on a fitness mission for a while now. I have been trying to amalgamate a regimen which serves a dual purpose - constantly augments my fitness as well as makes my body look good. So far, every body part has responded well to the workout except for.....yes...the dreaded lower belly fat, which, despite innumerable crunches, persists like the alien ship in independence day. Now I have started running but am quite confused whether I should stick to sprints, consistently jog, or mix the two on different days. Empirical advice would be great.

Intervals is the best way to burn the most calories and fat. So sprint for a few minutes and then jog for a few minutes. Or walk for a few minutes and then run/jog for a few.

How often do you follow the sprinting regimen in a week?

@teenspirit you don't need time or ability to sprint. You just need to sprint to sprint.

Do you find it more effective on the abdominals?

@CoolPeace It generally gets overlooked in aesthetics somehow. I always end up skipping leg day in the gym. Somehow, I convince myself that my walk to the gym would suffice.

I heard weight training first and follow behind other form of exercise help you burn fat quick. How you feel about treadmill and bike?

Im not sure about following up weight training with any form of cardio. The objective of weight training would be to target specific muscle groups, cause micro-tears and follow it up with a high BNV protein source such as whey protein. As a consequence of the reparations that our body undertakes, we develop lean muscle mass.
