Hey there. On to the fourth out of 10 bands on the list now!
The band is Cowboy Junkies. They formed in Toronto, in 1985, and are currently still together. Their sound is that of alternative country, also some blues and folk rock mixed in there as well. Every member of the group, except the bass guitarist, are related to each other. Below is a music video for the band. Enjoy :)

I remember this band. I probably know their song "Sweet Jane" the best (although that's actually a Velvet Underground cover... but Lou Reed said theirs was his favorite version of the song!), and I know they had a song on the "Pump Up The Volume" soundtrack.

Margo Timmins and Cowboy Junkies were pretty well known with songs like Sweet Jane.

Good point, they probably should not be on this list.. But I was kind of reaching for bands to be honest haha.. Actually the funny thing is is I only really knew the name and am not overly familiar with the band, but wanted to add them to the list, but when I was looking through their songs, I really started getting in to them, they're quite the good band! :)

I got to see them a few years back. Great show, and got to meet Margo Timmins after the show.

Oh wow, that's awesome man! I can only imagine it must have been great. I would probably like to go see them too, now that I have been getting in to them as of late, and since they are from the (fairly) local area, I would imagine they play here every now and then. That's awesome you got to meet Margo Timmins too, she is quite the looker and I am sure a very nice person! :)
