It takes quite a lot of good deeds to make people love you, but it only takes one lousy error for them to hate you. This is true in most situations, I have experienced this as well.
People tend to forget the good things you did to them, and worse, judge you because of some lousy or unintended errors. This will show who your true friends are.
Have you experienced this kind of situation?

The old Jewish sage, Paul, wisely counseled: "Let's not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don't give up." I've kept this advice all my adult life.
If people judge you and speak evil of you, they've got a big problem. If they want to address their problem with you instead of hiding their own faults, they need all the understanding they need as you discuss with facts. Not necessarily agreeing with their own closed, set mind. In this instance, let them be.
Keep doing good. Be faithful in being honest and truthful. And be courageous to speak up the truth at the right time and place. Other than this advice, let them be to their own devices.
