My house is bigger than what I thought it was.

Today, a lady came to see my house with her boss. It seemed that he knew how to ask questions in a better way.
They checked the house and they told me that they would send an appraisal by tomorrow or by Tuesday.
I told them that I was in no hurry to sell. And that I wanted to sell it for a good price.
They tried to make me tell them that I would need to sell my house first before buying another. I said I did not need that. I have my inheritance from my mother, some more extra money and my daughter Claudia is willing to help me out if needed for some time.
So I hmade it clear that they would have to offer a good price. Or else.
Then they measured it and the house and plot is bigger than what I thought it was.
So, the house will be worth more.

The thing is that when you decide to move, you want it to go fast.

here, i see more and more houses rebuilt to occupy the whole land area, not a patch of soil left, just a few potted plants in front of the house.

You have the upper hand if you don't need to sell before buying another. I hope you get a good price.

Hello again.
Its good to find out that the house is worth more than you thought it was.
Is the property market in Chile quite buoyant just now.
Will it sell at the price you want and will finding another house be quuite straight forward.?
Does the government take a cut from buyers? Like tax duty?
