I'm not sure if I got that right, but my son and his beautiful fiancée will be married one year from today!
They have their venue.
They have their DJ.
They have their award winning photographer from National Geographic.
I was asked to help choose her wedding gown with her mother and sister in a swanky shop in the town in which my brother lives on November 6th. I am honored.
So things are progressing very nicely. I am beyond excited!

Congratulations. The marriage of our children is exciting. Three of my five are married. We have excellent relationships with our children and their spouses.

@DianneN Work on it how? From what I've seen you've got a great figure. Will you be showing pics of the dress when you decide on it? Are you getting a new one for the wedding? What are her colors? Or hasn't she decided on all that yet? But since she's already got a world famous photographer, I would imagine she has everything else figured out too.

I think I'd have worded it 'happy future...' except that'd be the day of the wedding and not the day of the anniversary, so I'm not sure that either would work. But, we got the idea I'm sure. Congrats on the couple, and I hope all the arrangements come together nicely for them and everyone involved.
That year will give your hubby plenty of time to complete his healing if he's not quite there yet. Then at least he'd be able to enjoy the wedding like you both should.

This next year will probably fly by but !ook at all the fun things you have to look forward to. Going shopping for the bridal gown is an honor & I remember when my daughter in law asked me to go when she was looking for hers (I was tickled pink).
Have you decided what color dress you're going to wear?

I was invited to my daughter in law's everything and enjoyed every moment of being involved. I'm ticked pink - lol to do it all again. Having two sons and no daughters of my own makes it so much extra fun. You and I are blessed to have such wonderful families.
Green is my color, so that is what I may go with for fall.

So exciting indeed for a Mom like you to anticipate your son's wedding! They're such a lovely couple, and am sure the photographer from National Geographic knows so well the angles to catch the event in photos.

And this year will just fly by!
I hope that she does well and finds that special gown next month.
Our son and his fiancée face timed us tonight, they are still checking out venues, and finding it exhausting, but I told them that the right one is out there.
Every couple is unique, and so are their tastes for the day of their dreams.
She did manage to find her gown a few weeks ago with her mother and I there.
Do you know what colour you will be shopping for for yourself?

I hope they find a perfect for them venue. Yes, you told me that she found a gown. Yes, every couple is unique as are their tastes for the day of their dreams. Just as long as my son and his fiancée are happy, we're happy. I'm sure I will wear green to match my green eyes and blonde hair.
