Our friend here @saulgoodman just wrote a post wondering what to write about. You can read it right here, right now, at this minute.
So, that is quite a coincidence, as I was wondering exactly the same thing a few minutes ago. Great minds think alike!
I have quite a few ideas in my Notepad on what to write about, but somehow, today, I feel too lazy to put my ideas on my keyboard.
I guess on days like these, it is better to just read new discussions and comment on them.
Your take?
Sitting up in bed. Felix beside me. Its slow on here just now. Wondered what I could post about. Started playing around with the phone and in particular the...

You may be right. It seems slow. I did post two though, more than usual actually.

I'm never short of content to write about - often just a struggle to choose

@marlina the beauty of it is that the notes will keep until you are ready

@arthurchappell Yes, it is true, that's why I keep notes, otherwise I would never remember what I wanted to say.

I am not sure my mind is very great just now.
And I do confess that my post isn't the longest or most interesting I have ever written.
But hey it was more than one line and let me display the very poor resolution of the camera on the phone.
Your picture at the top of this post is very similar to a picture I could take in daylight from the window of this bedroom. Its lovely.
Sadly getting out of bed unaided at the moment is somewhat problematic.
I was indeed reading new discussions but its its quiet and my mind wandered a bit - mywife says quite possibly due to the meds I am taking.
Its a culture shock being bedbound for me as I am usually on the go all day and most of the evening.
I will get hold of my wife's phone and post the view I referred to earlier.

@saulgoodman Since you seem to be pretty offended, I did edit my post and took out the word "short". I hope that it will make you feel much better.
I do not think that "more words" pay more here at all.

Maybe. But I can still count. I have to say to you that I think your comment about my post being very short is not fair
I have spent some time counting words on posts today and believe me the 112 words I posted in that post is like a book compared to maybe 30 per cent of the posts I read lol
I will try and write more words because it pays better doesn't it

Sometimes reading a post is better than writing one.

I usually write about sports or entertainment, but most of the time it's the first thing that pops into my head.

Learn from the pros.Make notes for future use. Surf the site and read interesting posts, that's what I'm doing today.
The problem is there are so many posts that slip by because of the time difference. They are lost under a deluge of other posts.

I do wish we could save drafts here, sometimes I have partial ideas that I wanna polish more, and would love to have a store of half done discussions waiting for finishing

I often have the same trouble.... and can't always get on here everyday, and so it seems to 'feel' like I haven't written anything for ages... I also make notes when inspiration does come so it helps remind me what i was going to write about...

I used to do that on my blogs, I would pick something and then change it and when I was done it was about nothing I had wanted to write about.
