Finally back home after a long night of driving

We left to come home at 8pm last night and drove all night. We finally arrived home at 1pm. So glad to be back home. I will post pictures in the next few days. It was an amazing trip. The wedding was perfect. For now I am going to have a hot shower and try and get some sleep. I hope to be around later. If not I will be here tomorrow to try and catch up on all that I missed while I was away.

so happy you had a good time and a decent trip. hope you got some good rest! Can't wait to see pictures! How about poor Florida and Haiti? Thats awful. Our church stopped today and we all prayed for them. God have mercy on them all.

@Happy2BeMe It's nice that you thought of me. Our roads and traffic can be insane around here. It's not even funny. I'm glad that you got through it alright though. Not always easy to do.

Yes it was. I thought of you when we were driving through Montreal. Our plan was to take route 30 and bypass it but we ended up going right through it and you know how crazy that that be but we got through it just fine.

That is a really long drive, I hope there were more than just the 2 of you. It's hard enough to drive 6 hours straight but 9, yikes.

Dang @Happy2BeMe that is way too much driving for one person, did you know that there is a law that requires people to take at least a 4 hour rest every 8 hours ..... I think it's that way, truckers would know more about that though. I for one never drove more than 6 hours at a time even when I was in my 20s, of course being half blind is part of the reason but after 6 hours I had to rest from sitting so much let alone the eye strain.

There was just the two of us and he did all the driving. I offered but he was fine with driving. We stopped often to stretch.
