As long as I'm happy

I know I can't be the only one in the word that doesn't really care about how much money they make, and is happier with the littler things in life rather than the money. It's funny how many times I'm told what I'm doing won't make me much money at all, and I really never saw it at all about how much money I make.
For example today I had some guy on flii.by telling me exactly how to make money with flii.by, I never joined the site for the money aspect, I joined it to look at photos, and to post my photos when I do have some. Money was the last thing on my mind. Same goes with My Lot. I like meeting people, even if there was no money at all to be made or I'm doing something that won't make money I'd still love to discuss things with people.
As long as I have food to eat, a place to live, and something to wear I'm fine. I don't know if it's something in the way I was raised, or what but I never really grew up with tons of money, and now we live from pay check to pay check, which to me is fine. A lot of people want to be rich or something, I never did. I mean in the past I would have loved to have been famous, but I wouldn't have wanted to do anything for the money value I wanted to do it because it's what I wanted to do.
Is anyone else like that?

I'm with you...
I'm kind of same like you, but a bit different as well.
Similarity: I am so much happy because of little things in life.
Difference: I do value money as well. Though its not my priority..

I totally get it. I am the exact same way. I don't need money to make me happy. It's the little things in life that matter.

I used to be. Still am, to some extent, but there comes a point when you have to consider that living paycheck to paycheck won't cut it forever. Too much uncertainty, too much room for something to go wrong when you're one paycheck away from disaster. It might work for the immediate situation, but what happens down the road when you can't necessarily work for that paycheck?
The little things definitely matter more than the money, but the money is nice to have as a safety net when you need it.

I worked all my life and still work some now, but certainly never got wealthy and that is okay with me. I am probably happier now than I have ever been.

Me! Me! *waving my hand in the air*
Even i have people telling me i need to find something more stable. But i am happy doing what i do...and for now finance is not a problem...i am living in the now kind of person... people like to tell me the many things that could go wrong....but i think..what kind of life is it to always fear the future? Live in the "if's" and "but's" and "maybe's"?
I know myself well enough to know i can deal with problems once they arise...but i have some people around me who don't have that kinda faith in me...

yes. It is always the little things that make money and one need not earn money for oneself but for keeping himself busy and active.
