A user here is following me.I visited his profile. He has shared more than 50 posts here each of which has received not less than seven responses. The problem is that he has not even commented back on a single of them.
Should I visit and respond to his posts?

As you are actually asking, my advice is solicited. Do not respond to him.

@else34 What if all his notifications are disabled? Poor guy would never know someone responded, not that he cares to comment back, anyway.

@hora_fugi,I have responded to one of his discussions and my response is an advice to him that he should make it a habit to comment back on responses his posts receive....and I am still waiting for his comment.

It's up to you but I wouldn't.
What's the point of posting a discussion topic if you don't discuss.

One-way traffic: he is earning from others' responses - but he is also missing out by not keeping the conversations going. Looks like a waste of time from your point of view.

I, in many situations, prefer to be genuine. If the topic he wrote is of my genuine interest, I would love to comment. If its not, I won't.

@else34 In only few cases.. And when I want to know someone's response, I end up adding this line 'I'm expecting some comment on it' kind of lines.
You know, it encourages such people to reply.

Is he a new member? Some people don't comment back in the beginning, but when they find out how the site works they start interacting. If he is new I would encourage him to comment back. It is possible that he doesn't know that we earn when we interact.

@else34 I have seen new members who wrote 20 (really short) posts on their first day. Some people write a lot of posts really fast and don't comment back and I was wondering if he was one of those members. I would do the same as you and encourage him to comment back, but if he ignores it I would stop responding.

@Porcospino,One who has shared as many as 50 plus posts here can't be a newbie by any stretch of imagination. Moreover I have told him how important it is to comment back on responses, but all my suggestions have fallen on 'deaf ears.'That's why decided not to respond to his posts.

I don't know what to say about whether or not you should respond to his posts. I think I would probably not respond to him if he never responds to me.

@else34 I don't think that this site pays us for the number of comments that we get but for the general interaction that we produce here. Meaning that even if I comment on your post they will still pay me for it.

@Cristi_Ichim I have no idea.I am told that we are paid for what others write to us- responses to our discussions, comments on their comments etc.

@Cristi_Ichim,He has been earning from others' responses, but not allowing them to earn from his comments. Why should one take pains to respond to his posts?

I would do ONE response, asking why he does not respond to any of his comments. I understand people are busy but most of us here respond to one or more of the comments left on our posts ...

@MissNikki,That's exactly what I did.I very politely asked him to keep interacting.Nothing happened. For the last four days I have been waiting for his comment on my response.

@MissNikki No,he wants to earn and earn only with our help and seems to be reluctant to take pains to comment back even with a 'thanks.'The number of his posts has been continuously increasing.Obviously he wants to go on earning....

Give him sometime and then not respond to his discussions. I respond to everyone comments and then go and respond to one of their post. I always respond to my followers and those who are following me discussions.

I think it takes a while for people to understand how this site works. Maybe this user hasn't been here that long? When I started, I didn't realise straightaway about the importance of commenting back. It seems kind of obvious now, the whole interaction thing, but I think a lot of us are used to the sort of sites where the focus is on posting your own stuff in order to earn and it's not always easy to get into a different mindset and realise that on MyLot you earn by interacting with other people's posts and comments.
