For all of who don't know what the phrase means it's basically stating that If you eat healthy foods you'll be healthy and if you eat unhealthful foods you'll be unhealthy. Do you believe this phrase Is true? I believe it is. If you we eat unhealthy foods like cheese burgers, fries, chips, candy and cakes) all the time we may develope diseases such as high blood pressure or diabetes. If we eat healthy foods (lots of vegetables, fruits) we will be healthy and live longer and won't develop any diseases.

I do agree with that but prefer the everything in moderation saying...a little bad/fast food occasionally is ok but not all the time.

You can try to get your kids by eating healthy starting with making healthy delicious smoothies for them. I would suggest blending low fat yogurt, spinach, berries, banana and a orange. My nephews love this smoothie. You should also talk with them and tell them all that junk food they are eating is bad for them.

I agree with you about on being busy causing us to eat unhealthy. For instance some people work on the road like taxi drivers, they have to stop by a store and eat quickly then get back to work. These people are usually buying fast foods and this is how they are eating everyday.

Not necessarily true, heredity plays a big role in many diseases especially diabetes.

But we also have to make producers stop spraying wax on apples (to make them pretty) and stop them from using genetically modified seeds and all meat producers from using: steroids, hormones, antibiotics in meat. Pesticides and chemicals sprayed on crops don't help either. @Judy890

This is true! All of these chemicals they are putting in veggies and fruits doesnt make them healthy anymore. We are Ingesting all of these chemicals. Even organic fruits and veggies have pesticides. I think it's best if everyone grows their own food. I never understood the whole point in injecting hormones and those other stuff in meat. Non chemicals meat tastes far better than the ones they inject with junk.

Very true statement- I know who I am by what I eat. Those who eat junk food, tend to be lazy. Those who eat healthy food tend to be active and healthy.
