Hurricane Matthew Tree Rooting

So hurricane Matthew has been the talk of the week. As many of you already know it has caused massive damage. The news stations have done a good job of covering that.
However they tend to only cover the big stuff not really the little less life threatening stuff but I feel that it is still as important.
I took this picture of a tree ripped out of the ground by the roots in someones yard.

Seems like water softened it and the winds pulled it in different directions

I feel sad for that tree. I hope some one gets to replant them.

Yes I am sure that there are thousands of trees that have been felled by this monster storm.

Yes. The damage is immense. Nearly 1000 deaths have been recorded in Haiti alone.
