Where did summer go

It seamed just like it was the other day when I started planting the garden and the spring flowers were being replaced with summer blooms.
Nice warm summer days and the nights were cool. It was a summer like the summers were when I was a kid just perfecet. I had so many plans. But I never quite got to get anything done that I had plans to do.
Now fall is here and its to late to plant anything other than bulbs for the upcoming spring. And just around the corner is winter. I am so not ready to be cold. I'm not ready for the leaves to be falling and the flowers to be vanishing faster than I can photograph them. Soon they will all just me memories until next year..

@cyberrat No frost here yet either, very strange weather. One day i wear shorts and the next my parka...Scary. If i had grand kids I would worry what the world will be when they grew up. (Not that i could do anything) I am grateful my kids are not pro creators.

Summer seemed to go on and on this year. Then it was September....still summer....yet not the blistering heat of July and August. September was gone in a flash, and October seems to be flying past as well.
Like you, I am not ready for winter.
