How to analyse the sentence: love all,trust a few,do wrong to none?

I like the novel written by Shakespare. But I can not realize what he said: love all, trust a few ,do wrong to none. Maybe I've never been in a situation like what he experienced before.

I think it is quite apt. Love is unlimited...so giving it to people will not make anyone capable of less love or anything. However love and trust are different things...trust is earnt. So trust only people who have earnt it. And on the whole...the world would be a better place if people didn't do wrong to each other..... Shakespeare was quite wise.

Do wrong to none is kinda difficult...sometimes situations force us to do something that seem wrong or right either way...there are grey areas...we have to take a call...

it means love has to be done unconditionally but trust has to be given based on few known person.. and never harm anyone.

so true... it is important to love all...but not advisable to trust all...so trust a few is a wise choice. do wrong to none is important too.. There is a saying in Chinese, "Rather that others do wrong to me, than I do wrong to others.."
