Reality Check! 500 Million on Propaganda Videos?!

This may be disturbing to some, a film production company in London confirmed that the Pentagon had paid them 500 Million dollars of tax payers money to make fake videos of Terrorist beheading people, fake alqaeda recruitment videos and a few others wich promoted terrorism in Iraq. The American government even went out their way paying other companies to make fake news articles about alqaeda to further their agenda in putting fear into everyone and making the problem appear bigger than what it really is. Any thoughts on this??

I have heard of this...but i haven't researched it yet. Though it is not beneath the businesses that profit from such things to stage such things , so people will support the nonsense they are doing to the people on the other side of the ocean.

I simply do not believe it at all. It makes me wonder about the ownership of the company too.

Perhaps I spoke too soon. That was done in the George W. Bush era and anything was possible. He led us into war with lies. I trust the website where I read about the films.

@BACONSTRIPSXXX It is not just the American government. Many governments lean toward illegal acts.

A bit unrealistic I think. If India did that, or Pakistan did that, I would believe it. Their banking system makes it easy to trace down monies...ours does not. I will need more proof ... even though arms manufacturers would be itching to earn monies this way...

@BACONSTRIPSXXX ... Now you got my logic? Thank god....somebody is playing dirty...to provoke unquestioning minds....and get them to act against Pentagon.... Unless it is on CNN or BBC...don't trust anything on net...

So, they never learn I thought US had stopped creating terrorism during the alqueda days, wrong! it seems an american was right when he said US govt. promoted terrorism all over the world. If it's true, what are we going to do about it?

I will hold my judgement. In the past, when countries were not nuclear, it was possible that such arms had to be sold, and creating a market by creating turmoil made sense. But now, nuclear threat looms large, and if things escalate, the threat could well result in bombs going wrong and if such things were ever found, then that would be the outcome isn't it? How does it make the arms manufacturer happy with future becoming uncertain?
