Dussehra / Vijyadashmi / Ayuddhpuja
Another important Festival, this festival represents Victory of Good over Evil. This day falls on the 10th day of Ashwini month according to Hindu calendar.
Many important incidents are associated on this day, but the most important incidents are Rama's victory over Ravana, and Durga's victory over Mahishasura (Bengal).
This day we worship the goodness forms and destroy forms of evil which symbols that we must follow good path and defeat the evil from within.

Hope the festival was good for you. In Gujarat, we have Navratri Garba spread over 9 days, and it goes on at night right till early dawn. At Reliance Township in Jamnagar, we have many buses coming from the Town to Township at night for Garba Dance. Rain played spoil sport for 3 days, but we managed to shift the venue from the ground to the road alongside, except for the first day of rain. Lots of eateries and other stalls were put up and a professional orchestra was commissioned for the 9 days. Many of our friends danced to abandon beyond midnight. My wife and me however, being early birds, bid goodnight before the dances had taken off.
