I was too embarrassed to dance in public when I was young and shy but once I got into the mid-twenties I overcame that embarrassment especially when I heard of others that felt the same way. As I got older I had no problem getting out in front of people to dance the night away.
I've not gone dancing now for at least eight years. That began because my husband had his lower leg amputated in 2008. He could probably dance now, but I can't because I need a knee replacement. Whether I choose to dance after I get the new knee remains to be seen. It is great exercise though.

Oh it definitely is. I am kind of interested in taking Zumba but I have a feeling, I would be taking a break all the time...lol. It seems like it would be fun though.

@snowy22315 Maybe you'd be fine, but I don't know. Both my daughters do zumba. I can ask what age groups usually participate and find out whether some people do it according to their own endurance levels before being able to do it along with everyone else.

Dancing is a sport to me, A sport that i can only practice within a closed room. Want me to tell you why? Cause i am really bad at it! Even though i enjoy dancing, its really hard for me. _

Nope, I'm not a dancer at all. I didn't even attend my prom. I did attend a homecoming dance before.
