Where is money generated from at MyLot?

I may be a bit slow. However, I would love to know how many members there are at MyLot, and how many have actually had money placed into their paypal account. The reason I ask is that I have no idea at all how posting forums generates money. In other words, where does MyLot get the money to pay all of us. Please enlighten me if you know.
