Well a friend of mine got disappeared without even telling. When he was gone two years ago and I was clueless, and felt very bad . All I felt was maybe I would have treated him bad,but the truth was that I never treated him bad.. Few days ago I don't know from where he came back. He was like " hi nidhi , happy friendship day . Let's forget what happened in past and be friends again.".. I was cool with that but still I was curious ,so I asked him that why did he disappear. He didn't tell me about that ... But now am curious and furious both because again he got disappeared without letting me know. I don't know how to react ... Please tell me all the possible reasons that might have made him come back again then get vanished without even telling... Seems something fishy

Unrequited crush or something along that lines comes to mind! Boys can also get shy and insecure in such cases. He might be fearing your rejection or completely losing your friendship in case you discover his feelings.

@nidhiS1997 It means same feelings/emotions are not returned by the other person.

he may like you since back then. but didn't tell you.
or maybe he thought it was obvious, but maybe not obvious to you.
after a while, he felt that he can't get you.
so he disappeared.
and he still think of you from time to time...and decided to text you again during friendship day... ?
just my guess...
