Love me some peroxide

Couple of weeks ago Beau Teak Siamese gentleman went out into the dark and met the cat Boogie Man. Beau returned with quite a deep head wound. I took him in to talk to the Doc. She handed out antibiotics to him and a bill for me that bit deeply into a hundred dollar bill. Curfew for Beau! Thought we were done? Nah uh. Yesterday here comes Beau with a nasty wound on his soft bunny fur side. I called the Doc. The receptionist said the bill would be a repeat of the last visit. Huge gulp from me. What to do? Housemate and the internet suggest hydrogen peroxide. At least this time the stuff would not drip into Beau's eyes. So I chased him down at least three times yesterday and applied the wet meds. He was nice about the whole thing. Hoo boy. The wound started to diminish. The bad germs were being attacked by the peroxide. I could hardly find the sad spot this morning. (Yesterday it had swelled to about a quarter in size. Infection city. ) Housemate held Beau boy while I drowned the spot again. Going to keep him on night time curfew. Not sure how he got the second one but for now it looks like I saved some serious money.

Sounds like his opponents need boxing gloves so they don't rip him up.

@Rohvannyn I agree. He can be aggressive and teasing too much. The stinker!

@hatley Good to hear from you though I am sad about your poor arm and your pain. I've wondered about Beau's boogie man. Something held him down and chewed a hole in his head and ripped his ear though that rip did not tear clear through. Then the hole in his side. Makes me wonder.
