The BBC Breakfast show excelled itself today. They were telling us that Scottish first minister, Nicola Sturgeon would be joining them later in the programme, but footage of an escaped gorilla from London Zoo came up on the screen instead! I do wonder how the person responsible for that error is feeling right now! Over the years in my job I have made a few mistakes, but I'm certain I haven't done anything on this scale! What was your most embarrasing mistake at work? When I messed up, I used to say to myself - "It could be worse. I could've taken out the wrong kidney." Perhaps in future I'll say, "I could've put up a picture of a gorilla instead of Nicola Sturgeon." I did find it very amusing though and I think Nicola Sturgeon probably did too. I'm not sure what the gorilla thought. Here's a clip of the BBC's finest hour!

It could be interesting to know what the gorilla thought. Do you know something curious? You mentioned a "Gorilla" and on the right site of my page I see three different images of Donald Trump... is this the famous "Artificial Intelligence" of the computer?

Now, if the BBC had put up a gorilla in place of Donald Trump that might have been more understandable - but deeply insulting to the gorilla. Gorillas have far more sensitivity.

It was deliberate. She didnt find it amusing. The BBC and SNP have been at war since Indy ref in 2014. The way the BBC report tbe SNP is shocking. The BBC in Scotland are fronted by Better Together supporters. Its blatant. The BBC nationally are just as bad. Tbe tones and slants on issues have to be seen to be believed. Sky box channel 951. See for yourself. The establishment are in turmoil now because of Sturgeons electoral success in wiping the Unionist parties out in Scotland. The SNP I understand are going to rub more noses in the dirt by fielding candidates in English constituencies which they could well win given disillusioned voters in the north of England. The SNP have shaken up the establishment and the people who are part of that estaishment do not want change. Methinks all these BBC slurs simply make her stronger as the people of Scotland detest Unionist bias media even more My most embarrassing mistake? Forgot to tighten back axle bolt on a bike after i tigbtened chain Could bave been a fatal mistake.

I wonder if that mistake was accidentally on purpose, given that Scotland has been so critical of the Brexit vote?
