"Stop! Yes, plenty of hard feelings. You are constantly doing things to bother and annoy me. You are mean, vindictive, and egocentric. Oh, by the way, I've been sleeping with your wife for the last two years. No hard feelings!"

That is true. The point is that saying your sorry is sometimes a meaningless gesture when the damage was caused by carelessness or intentional.

I never could understand why people thought they could do just about anything and then get away by saying "sorry". It makes me want to place them through a meat grinder.
