Does anyone hand wash dishes any more

Good morning.Lovely one that it is.
After breakfast of french toast and determined to make my apple pie this morning.Keep in mind this is eight in the morning.I am always up early.
I bought a bag of Granny apples.I have never used them in my pie
But do know that it is a nice tart apple.
After getting the pie ready.With the peeling and slicing of the apples.
Then my dishwater is ready to clean up the breakfast dishes.
a thought came to my mind.Does anyone here hand washes their dishes?
Most people have automatic.I really do not mind doing this.
Been doing this for year.How about you hand wash anyone?
The photo is the pie just came out.Looks good and hope that it taste also

SHOCKING CONFESSION: I have never, never used a dishwasher and have no
interest in having one. I do not mind washing dishes by hand.
I don't even know how to use a dishwasher and DO NOT intend to learn.

i think if you have abundant and reliable supply of hot water it's okay because i'm imagining it would be hard to handwash during the colder months

@hereandthere we do have hot water all year long.How supply is your hot water there.Do you have a tank or heat it.

I am one of the few people who don't have a dishwasher. I handwash all my dishes. That pie looks delicious.

@jennyjoy It's a name someone gave to a particular chocolate mousse or pudding pie where the filling is rich and delicious and tastes smooth as silk. Great chocolate pudding pie!!!

I do wash dishes by hand, but hope eventually to have a dishwasher again. For me, I feel it sanitizes them.

we still handwash dishes in the philippines. we let them drip and air-dry in the dish drainers next to the sink. we have another sink outside the kitchen to wash the pots and pans. your apple pie looks yummy.

I still hand wash dishes a lot. Sometimes it is just a lot faster to do it that way and a lot more efficient.

I do because I live in a one room space, and it has no dishwasher. If I had one, I would use it all the time.

i do.by machine is a big expensive waste of water,plus the motors seem to burn out quickly.i got rid of mine and went back to hand washing.

I don't think you'll have enough pie for all of us. I'll take mine warmed with a dab of ice cream on top.
I usually prefer using a dishwasher mostly because I'm not home a lot and the dishes pile up. Right now, though, we're not using the dishwasher because it's causing a drain in the basement to overflow. When I get the drain guy in to fix it, then we'll go back to using it again. I also have a small leak under the sink. We think it's one of the pipes leading into the faucet. Have a handyman person that will fix that for us for a reasonable price.
So, for the time being, we are washing dishes by hand. Right now I should be doing that instead of being here mylotting.

All the dishes,pots and pans are hand washed.No dish washer in our house.The golden crust looks yumm!
