It rained in the Bay Area yesterday! How is Fall greeting you?

I was actually able to Google a chart that showed precipitation here in the San Francisco Bay Area for 2016. We had a nice, rainy Winter, but absolutely no precipitation since May. June, July, August and September shower 00.00.
It sprinkled a week ago but not enough to make a difference. Yesterday, we had our first real rain of the Fall. It meant for a lot of fun at the preschool--filthy kids stomping, building sand mud pies, and such like. And it also made my balcony tomato plant very happy.
But the darned thing (meaning my tomato plant) still hasn't thrown any flowers, so I don't know if I'll ever see tomatoes! Right now it's partly cloudy and cool, and more rain is forecast for this evening. I can feel the wind picking up, so I'm going to take the plant off of my railing.
How is Fall letting you know of its arrival in your neck of the woods?

so tickled ya finally got'cha some rain! 'tis rained all 'round these parts off/on the past 2 weeks, we've jest gotten the winds. i bet t'was a blast watchin' ('n joinin') those young'uns! i'd sure been right'n the midst 'f that sorta fun, lol.
do ya feed that mater, hon? if'n not, either sprinkle some epsoms salts 'round (not much, 'bout a 1/2 teaspoon i'd say fer such a wee pot), scratch 't 'nto the surface 'n water lightly. 'r, ya could mix 'p some with warm water (to dissolve 't) 'n use that to water the lil darlin' once a week with. maters love their magnesium, jest 's peppers ('n my achy joints/muscles) do.
a cold front from canada came blastin' through here. we went from record highs to barely hittin' 60 degrees fer a few days. back 'nto the upper 80's here today though 'n i hope the warmin' trend continues.

Only one nice rainfall this fall after a pretty dry summer. We may get rain Monday into Tuesday. I'm happy this beautiful weekend will stay sunny, since my son and fiancée are visiting Montreal and my brother is visiting Stockbridge, Massachusetts with his wife and dog. We are kittysitting at my son's house near the beach until his return. Hope your poor tomatoe plant flowers.

We've had a couple of days of temps below 70F along the coast of SoCal. Some overcast too, beach fog and coastal clouds. I've taken out my long sleeved Henley shirts. Wearing one right now, cozy.

The trees are losing their foliage and the evenings and mornings are drawing in. There is a nip in the air to remind us that we won't be seeing any hot weather for sometime to come now! I hope your plant is not barren!
