Thank goodness for the internet when I needed the help and advice for illnesses

After I realized I knew nothing about strokes or Alzheimer's, I spent hours and hours after working all day and helping take care of my mom. There are people out in the internet world that have been here before and knew how to help people to get the help we needed to help our loved ones. Sometimes people sounded cruel but after the days passed and I started finding out for my self, I soon got use to the advice I was getting. For years I made friends with online people that went through the same things as I was going through. I had a double whammy as mom had both the stroke and Alzheimer's at the same time. I just hope I can help people that need it too as it is a very long and drawn out process until one figures out what is best for our loved ones and ourselves.

It was like being on here. I got to "chat" with the same people a few times a day and really felt bad when their loved ones passed.

I hope the advice worked well for you. If you filter out all the garbage online you'll find that there's some insight out there.
