Why are most people hypocritical?

Most people now-a-days are hypocritical. They talk one thing but do one thing. Why can't people have a straight face? Why do they have to resort to lying and deceit? Why can't they just speak the truth every time? What is so difficult in that?

Sometimes truth may hurt or is discomfortable. Some people are just scared to say the truth. And some people prefer lie all the time because they don't know what is the better thing to say. Another one just think that the truth is annoying and the lie is more interesting.
No one in the word can all the life say always a truth and do what really want to do. That is the world in what we live...

That era is over, today if you have this quality you are the best. You know these people conscious haunt them and they cannot sleep peacefully. Whom are they fooling, themselves and they cannot be happy..
