Mylotters Giveways and Trips

There are many people I would love to meet in person. Even in Florida!!!!

It would be too expensive as people are all over the world. Nice idea though perhaps if the site becomes mega rich it is a great idea!

I sure would like to meet some myLotters who maybe living near our place . Actually , here in the Philippines , have already met in Manila for about 2 times , when myLot was still on its 3rd or 4th year . And they posted pictures and saw them in person even in pictures only . I am so happy seeing them together and wished i am near them also .

lovely idea though probably too few of us in the same cities to organize it - I only know two other mylotters from my old home town, one of who I have met - not met any Mylotters from my current home town Preston though

It's a good suggestion ...I saw something in the Terms and Agreement where you can place your suggestion? The idea is good if it's you family but I prefer to keep to myself and to remain unknown but still be a myLotter.. I don't want to really want to know who is who...I like the idea of a 'user name' being used on this site.

It would be amazing but I would worry it wasnt legit. I always worry about getting scammed.

I'm not sure. I don't know everyone on here like that, so that's a bit out of my comfort zone and would really depend on the scenario. The second thing is I'm saving up for other things right now, so I wouldn't have the funds. I enjoy interacting with everyone on here though. :)

I know some MyLotters have gotten together, but I don't know if the site is willing to make a contest. Mostly because there are people all over the world, so a giveaway for a short trip in the same country is different than a giveaway on a trip overseas. Or, maybe make the contest for only a certain distance away.

I wish it would happen one day but I'm pretty sure I will be silent. I am a shy lass.

It's a good idea! It would be just like the old times when the internet was just starting. You guys were on IRC? There would sometimes be these Eyeballs or EBs they would call it. Although, at that time, I never went coz I was very young then and I wouldn't even dare ask my parents for permission. I knew they would immediately say no. I was just participating in the chatrooms but never on the meet-ups.

A mylot contest with prizes needs to be done like a laptop cash prize or iPad giveaway.

Sounds like a plan to me. I would love to have a mylot get together. A few other sites that I've belonged to have done trips and cruises and such, but I've never been able to take part because of money. Then when they come back and everyone is talking about the trips in chat I get so jealous.

That would be way to expensive to pull it off.

It might be interesting. One site some of us were on for years had a contest where you were given a chance to win $100 with every new article. As one of the winners because my name was pulled, I thought it was great.

I would love to actually meet some of my fellow Mylotters.
