MyPoints meets MyFoot

Do you belong to the website, MyPoints? First, it's still a great site, and I am grateful for it. It's so reliable, and most of my points that I earn are from non shopping reasons. So I like them. However, they revamped their website and the entire system. It's harder to get points for watching videos, and while you used to earn five points for a disqualification from a survey, you can now only earn 20 a day tops for not qualifying for a survey. I even did a ten minute survey from them, didn't qualify, and STILL didn't get five points. And I hadn't reached my limit. They pick and choose which surveys to throw you those 5 points. Strangely, their customer service has suffered as well. I still haven't heard back from a question I submitted weeks ago. Like I said, I still like them. But has anyone else been frustrated by the changes?

Aren't they under the same company as Swagbucks now? I seem to remember seeing MyPoints mentioned in the Swagbucks terms of service.

Really? Thanks, I didn't know it. That actually would explain the video changes.

I did not know that that could be a good thing. I know they did some changes to the site and since they did I seem to be earning better on there.

I haven't heard about MyPoints yet. I joined two survey websites. One is Globaltestmarket and the other is Toluna. Today Globaltestmarket doesn't pay money and they pay the gift cards instead. As to Toluna, it spends longer time for them to pay for me. But I am still glad that they paid it. Since I already wonder whether I should do the surveys for them since they didn't pay for me. I would like to join more reilable survey websites.

I don't belong, but do limit myself to a very few trusted sites. When they change something, it drives me crazy.

@AmberPam Yes I have had a MyPoints account for many years, that is mostly how I got Christmas presents for my kids. Yes when they revamped it last month a lot of my points that I had already earned vanished. I message customer service and they got back in touch with me within 3 or 4 days. I got my points back. Maybe you should try to contact them again. But yes it has gotten way harder to earn points now.

Have not had any problems since the change. I don't like that they set a limit on the 5 points for not qualifying for a survey. What I do like is getting 5 points for every 10 questions you answer on updating profile so they can help find you better surveys I like that it has helped bring my points up. I cashed out on 9-26-16 for 10.00 Starbucks had some points left after cash out buf not many. Now I am almost to 2,000 points.

Yeah, and sometimes they don't even give you 5 points even if it's your first or second disqualification.

I have been with swagbucks and mypoints for years. I love both sites but it has become more difficult to earn on both of them. They have greatly reduced rewards for watching videos and nCraves. I have completed surveys and received no credit too many times to count. However, this is happening on all my sites. It especially got worse after the New Year. I am wondering if it has something to do with the Trump administration and new regulations on these type of sites of if these sites are just trying to maximize profit. And, yes, Swagbucks now owns MyPoints.

lucky. I am lucky. I have not registered with the site. I heard about it. I always read reviews before going for registration. If I find more negative reviews I throw such site to a dustbin and will not look to it. Thanks for the post and information.
