My oldest grandson will be 20 in February and is in his 2nd year of college in New Jersey. Last year the hockey team was started again after not being active for many years.
He use to work part time at a hockey rink near his home being a guard. He always wanted to play hockey but never thought he would get there. He was surprised when he tried out and made the team. This was unusual for a freshman. It was the first time he got to play with experienced players.
This year he was made a goalie which the entire family as well as he was, shocked. They only have 2 goalies on the teams and he is one. Last night was his first game and he is so excited. They won 7-0.
I hope we can make it up to New Jersey to see him play but it is very long for us as we are in Florida. I don't want to miss this one. We are so proud of him.

I am also proud of your grandson for his achievement in this hockey game. He is proved to be a great hockey player, as can be seen from the result of the match, 7-0. I hope he will get improved as time goes by and makes it in every game he is taking with good luck. Take care.

@wiliwmjisir66 The great thing is he is only in his 2nd year of college and will have 3 more years of playing hockey. That is his one passion. He taught himself to skate in our driveway when he was younger and continued on to the present. It shows when someone wants something bad enough they will get it.
He wants to follow in my husbands footsteps as he also was a goalie for his college many years ago.
