The Young Doctors

The picture shows my daughter , his boyfriend and the one in eyeglasses is their friend doing wacky poses . The three of them are now doing their pre-residency at one of the prestigious hospitals in the Philippines , St. Luke's. And would you believe that they are now doctors since they already passed the Medical board last September ? Well, I won’t ever tell my daughter –doctor that despite me taking my anti-cholesterol pill lately , I ate McSpicy burger and fries last night after our dismissal from work . I know what she will tell me.

How does it feel to have a doctor as a daughter? Well, I was once a pre-med student but I didn't become a doctor. I went home to my hometown and continued my studies there. I shifted to accountancy and because I got married before my graduation, I was not able to take any board exams and I landed a job in the local government of our place. I attended review classes for the CPA Board Exams but was not able to continue because I have already a toddler to take care of. Being a doctor is far from what I am today... so very far. Good luck to your daughter and her friends....

Thank you my friend . It is hard for me and her father to economize so we can always give her her needs , laptop etc. and a big allowance so she won't go hungry in Manila . And now after 9 years , when she finally be earning her own money while she specializes after her pre-residency , we can at least relax and have money for our own .

Our children can sometimes overreact specially when we are treating ourselves and eat some foods that might aggravate the one we are treating , that's why . So we better not tell them .
