Does anybody know if we get paid more if people "like" our posts?

This is what mylot say
"How much can I earn with each discussion, response or comment? - This all depends on how interesting and valuable the myLot community considers it. The more that other myLot users interact with what you post, the more money it will make. If no one reads what you wrote, interacts with it, or otherwise considers it interesting, then you likely won't earn anything"
A "like" is an interaction by someone on what you have posted so therefore I'd say it would earn you something although they don't specifically mention like.
We earn for interaction received not the interaction we give to others...although they do go hand in hand

@coffeebreakwhatever no, tags won't directly give you more money but they could help someone to find your post and respond/comment so that would add to your money.
I hardly ever use them on comments or responses unless it's something I want to be able to see again so to them I just add my name.

I had always wondered about this. I am glad someone asked it. I always like other people's post and responses because even though it might not help me it might help them and that makes it worth it.

Interaction means all of that. We do get paid if people like our posts. But noone will read what we write if we donĀ“t read and comment what they write.

@JohnyAppleseed yes for a like also your notification rises and it adds to your credit . At the same time if someone mentions your name , so do you get the notification which counts as well but the amount of credit is still unknown.

@JolietJake So what is it to read and answer posts? And is it not interacting after all?

You get credit for likes and comments to your posts not to other people's. That's why this is a reciprocal process.

you can see the myLot earning FAQs about the system but as i scroll down, it didn't mention anything about earning by pressing the "Like" icon...howeve it reflects on your stats how many likes you've done

Just interact and enjoy. Some discussions take off and can be a lot of fun. The more people respond to what you have written whether it's on a discussion you've started or comments/responses you have made on other discussions, you get paid.
It's only a little money, so I just enjoy myself.
