When I was on my junior and senior high school, my Chinese Teacher( I am also a Chinese) usually like us read out the poems on our textbooks loudly which are classic poems.
I love most of the poems on my textbooks and think they are really beautiful.
Especially when you read them out with your feelings. It can touch your heart.
I love some Chinese poems, both in ancient times or modern times.
And I have also learned some English poems on my university like the Raven or others.
Maybe because I am Chinese, I am less passionate when I read out English poems. But I still love some beautiful English written poems.
How about you?
Do you like English poems?
Or do you know any Chinese?

Hi my friend! I love reading poems too. My favorites are the poems written by Robert Frost like Mending Walls, Stopping by the Woods on a Snowy Evening, and the Road Not Taken. I don't know any Chinese poems but would love to learn more about the language.

I do like poetry. My mother used to read from poetry books when we were little girls. Later I loved to read and write poetry. T.S. Eliot is my favorite poet. In junior high and high school we memorized poems for english literature to recite aloud. I never liked getting up in front of the class, but I did enjoy poetry.
