High School Education or Apprenticeship Programs?

In order to prepare individuals for the world of work, would you prefer compulsory high school education rather than apprenticeship programs?

I combination of both students learns in classes and got apprenticeship for that learning subjects in weekend Saturday and Sunday that makes subject more interesting and meaningful.
