One of the biggest innovations in education is the "flipped" classroom. That is, instead of getting explanations at school and doing exercises at home, you actually learn the theory by yourself and o to meet other to practice it.

@kaichoukebz it produces quite good results. And yes, you are right that without technology it wouldn't be there. It assumes enough interaction between the teacher and students, and tracking results, so that all have at least some basic knowledge of the stuff when it comes down to solve problem in class.
