Good day to all! I am being productive today here in Mylot and this is my 3rd post. When I was still in elementary, I started to hate Math. It continued when I stepped in high school and I completely loathed it during the college days. The sad thing is that no matter how intense my hatred is for Math, I cannot completely avoid it in my life. Even I do not love it, I have to learn how to love it because it is a part of my life.
Do you love Math? What are those things you do to be good in Math?

I don't hate Math and not a single day I fell in love with it... lol...
But I'm proud to say that my scores/grades for any math exams are better than other subjects.
I remember when I took the Civil Service Exam, I rushed to the mathematics page early on...
When you mentioned that this is your 3rd post, I thought you deleted all your other posts. lol...

Math is a difficult subject for me. Especially it is much more difficult in high school and college. In fact I tried hard to study it and tried to have an improvement. But I am not good at it yet. I think everybody is different and they have diffierent talents.

Hi my friend! What are those things you do to improve your Mathematics skills? They said that Chinese are very good Mathematicians. Does it all apply to Chinese people?

@youless It could be. It was long time ago when I watched a video of Indian students. They can easily do Math calculations fast through their hands.

Math isn't always the easiest subject, but have Oksana Neveselaya as your teacher and it just got harder (zing). Oksana is a math teacher from Minsk, Belarus. A video taken by a student was uploaded to youtube (video below) and it quickly grabbed the atten

I need a terror teacher to excel in any subject
I failed in Math from Grade 1-4 but because our teacher in Grade 5-6 was a terror I got perfect scores while our valedictorian didn't. I studied harder because I was afraid of her. Same in high school.
In college, I passed because my seat mate answered my test papers and my board mates who were scholars of MAPUA did my assignments.

Hahaha! I think there is also a teacher factor when it comes to learning Math. I had been lucky too having friends who are good in Math. They also helped me with my number and equation problems.

@AkoPinay I wish we were taught steno transcription too. Well, my penmanship is like steno according to some people. My students say they think I am a doctor because of my penmanship too.

@Ritu96 I am learning how to love Math by keeping an open mind. I think there is nothing impossible for a persistent person willing to learn, right?

Oh, I remember my thesis when I was doing my Masters. I was very blessed. I have a friend who was a Statistics Professor and he helped me a lot. I owe a lot from him. I wouldn't graduate if not because of his help too.

@rymebristol We have the same experience. My grade in Algebra is not good in my transcript. If only I could remove Algebra in my transcript I would.
