Can You Think of a Moral of the Story?

This story, I heard from my dad many years ago. Once there was a great fight between animals and birds of the earth. All birds and animals were clear which side they belonged to. However, there was a creature, the bat, who was an opportunist. It joined the animals when they were winning the fight and accompanied the birds when they appeared to be triumphing. At the end, there was a truce. Both the warring sides agreed to peaceful co-existence. But none of the sides, unhappy with the bat's behavior during the fight, liked the bat to be at their side. Since then the bat is excluded from both the clans. Can you think of a moral of the story?

Be true to your family and friends, and don't run away when things get bad or are not favorable. They might not welcome you back when things are favorable again. OR don't be a bat.

The moral of the story is we have to be firm in our decisions and commitments, i want to share something from scripture or the HolyBible Matthew 5:37New King James Version (NKJV) 37 But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one

Yes there is a moral it's a fox trick to join both sides. There is a sentence, Do not step on two boats.
